Greco-Roman Series: Athens, Santorini, Venice and Rome.

Over the past ten years I’ve taken portraits of houses, cars and people in their landscape. This work was the genesis of the Real Estate Novelist series of photographs. I didn’t intend to continue this series outside of Australia, but when I travelled to Athens, Santorini, Rome and Venice, I saw the same signs, the same treasured homes. I set to work. I called this work The Greco-Roman Series. The Greco part of the series is exhibited below. The Roman part is here. This and all the images I capture of houses, buildings, cars and people in their landscape is for the love of it and the love of them. I find these buildings and cars, these lines, these colours and these textures, exquisite.
