Welcome. My name’s Campbell Mattinson, and I’m an Australian photographer.
The first image I ever had published in a newspaper was in 1987. It was a portrait. For the past 30 years I’ve taken pictures of people and places, moments and memories, for media outlets around the world.

I’m known for my portraits of people and places.
But people come to me for pictures for their websites and socials, or to build their portfolio or brand, or for publication, or to document someone or something important.
In 2020 I won the Best Film award in the regional category of the
St Kilda Film Festival as the writer-director-filmmaker.
My approach is simple: I make everything and everyone look good. I take flattering pictures. There’s beauty in everything and that, always, is the rainbow that I chase.
