Kappadokia Kebabs, Margaret River

A local legend: Kappadokia Kebabs in the Main Street of Margaret River.

Kappadokia Kebabs & Turkish Bakery sells kebabs, meat boxes, burgers, and fresh Turkish bread. It is halal. It’s primarily a takeaway shop on the Bussell Highway – Margaret River’s main street – with a few tables outside. It’s also known for prices that sit below the town’s reputation as “Mark-up River”. It’s also a local legend, and kept me fed on more than one night the last time that I visited.

Snapped a pic because it’s the kind of thing that no one who’s been sent to cover Margaret River snaps a pic of. And yet it’s integral to the town.
