“The Good Room” Bridal Photoshoot in Seddon

Natika Fullerton wears a Ziva Wedding Dress in a photoshoot in Seddon, Melbourne.

You can find yourself in funny situations as a photographer. I’m not quite sure how I ended top taking photographs of models, in a cafe in Seddon, as a showcase of the beautiful bridal wear of Ziva Wedding Dresses. But I spent a Saturday doing just that a couple of years ago, and the images are good. Bridal wear, with hair-and-make-up-artists in attendance, in a moody setting, is the kind of recipe that makes photography easy.

This image, as an aside, was created in “The Good Room” of the Seddon Deadly Sins Cafe, which is upstairs. You can hire this room for functions and indeed for photoshoots. It’s got a great vibe, moody lighting, leather couches, lamps, big windows. There’s a lot that you can do with it. Exposed brick walls are not so much to my photographic taste but “The Good Room” in Seddon is an option that photographers should keep in mind. Rates start at $150, I believe.
