I took these portraits of noted Barossa Valley winemaker Dave Powell – ex Torbreck, ex Powell & Son, now of Neldner Road wines. – at his stone cellar in the Barossa. They were taken to accompany the article Dave Powell: The Tempest. The gear used was the Sony A1 & Sigma 85mm f1.4 DG DN, the latter not making life easy in what is a fairly tight space.
